Legal Documents
Securely store and manage your family's estate documents with cryptographic integrity verification
Secure & Private
Your documents are encrypted and only you can access them. We use SHA-256 hashing to verify file integrity, and maintain an audit log of all access. These digital copies are for convenience and emergency access—original signed documents are still required for legal proceedings.
Power of Attorney Documents Expire
Most POA documents expire 1-3 years from signing. CarryForward will alert you when documents are expiring soon so you can update them before deployment or PCS moves.

What documents should I upload?
Focus on critical estate documents: wills, trusts, powers of attorney (medical, financial), healthcare directives, and vital records (marriage certificates, birth certificates). These are the documents your family may need access to in an emergency.
How does integrity verification work?
When you upload a document, we generate a SHA-256 cryptographic hash—a unique fingerprint of your file. Later, you can click "Verify Integrity" to re-check that the file hasn't been altered or corrupted. This provides cryptographic proof of document authenticity.
What about physical locations?
Track where your original documents are stored (safe deposit box, attorney's office, home safe). During PCS moves, note which HHG box contains originals so you can locate them quickly if needed.
