1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CarryForward ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

CarryForward is operated by TAP-OS, LLC, a company dedicated to serving military families.

2. Service Description

CarryForward is a medical record management platform that allows you to:

• Store encrypted medical records for your family members
• Organize provider contact information
• Generate immunization record summaries
• Create DD Form 2870 records requests
• Access your data offline via Progressive Web App (PWA)

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and your encryption recovery phrase. CarryForward uses zero-knowledge encryption, meaning we cannot recover your data if you lose your recovery phrase.

3.2 Accurate Information

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all medical information you upload or enter into the Service. CarryForward is a storage and organization tool, not a medical records verification service.

3.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious software or files
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Share your account with unauthorized parties
• Scrape or systematically collect data from the Service

4. Data Ownership & Rights

4.1 Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the medical records and information you upload. CarryForward does not claim any ownership of your data.

4.2 License to Operate

You grant CarryForward a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

4.3 Data Export & Deletion

You may export your data at any time in standard formats (PDF, JSON). You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

5. Subscription & Billing

5.1 Pricing

CarryForward offers a single subscription tier: $2.99/month or $25/year.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Billing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months or years.

5.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for 6 months.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARRYFORWARD AND TAP-OS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Loss of data due to user error (including loss of recovery phrase)
• Medical decisions made based on information stored in CarryForward
• Inability to access the Service due to internet connectivity or device issues
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

CarryForward is a record-keeping tool, not a medical advice service. Do not rely on CarryForward for medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or emergency medical needs. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where TAP-OS, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
